This is an encounter between two creatures at a specific place and time.  High up on a vertical plane, a slippery slope. My foxes are mischievous and their intentions are not always easy to discern. Are they here to fight or fall in love?  Civil Twilight is an examination of our current state of discourse. I will never let the political climate drive a wedge between me and my loved ones but it is often hard to not become frustrated. Civil Twilight brings together a small landscape of contrasting colors and viewpoints. Their small world is vulnerable, just like ours. I can’t help wonder what they see looking outward towards us. That is an encounter too, and the result is unpredictable.
