The Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass workshop
This class will open the world of 104 glass to students as they think about design, process, and alternative materials. 104 is sold as cane or solid rods of colored glass. This class will be a deep dive into many cane techniques: cane pulls, roll ups, murrine, and the use of supios (small sections cut from a larger tube of glass) for creating projects. We will explore the working properties of 104 and the potential of this glass for use in the hot shop.
Africa's Vanishing Species
All sales of Claire's work help support monthly donations to the African Wildlife Foundation, to ensure wildlife and wild lands thrive in modern Africa.
